To honor Jim Brown on his 80th birthday, NFL Network will air a special, one-hour tribute to the Browns legend tonight at 8 p.m.
"Jim Brown: 80 Years and Running" will feature highlights from key moments in Brown's life on and off the field and lay out how Brown paved the way for numerous NFL players to find success in media endeavors after their days on the field were finished. There will also be a roundtable discussion with Hall of Famers Marshall Faulk, Curtis Martin, Marcus Allen, Franco Harris, Eric Dickerson and Brown.
Brown celebrates his 80th birthday today. The Browns are marking the date among his many milestones through a dedicated website, jimbrown.clevelandbrowns.com, and #HappyBirthdayJimBrown.
Later this year, an episode of NFL Network's Emmy-nominated series A Football Life will focus on Brown.
An encore of "Jim Brown: 80 Years and Running" will air at midnight and Sunday at 11:30 p.m.
