INDIANAPOLIS -- The NFL world has converged on the Indiana Convention Center, and the reason, of course, is the 2020 NFL Draft.
There will be a lot more clarity after this busy, busy week. For now, we're rounding up the latest projections for the Browns, who hold the 10th overall selection.
Of note: Hanson calls Becton a "mauler" in the run game who would be the second tackle selected in his mock.
Of note: In this scenario, Reuter sees the Browns trading down to No. 16 with the Falcons.
Of note: Wilson goes against the grain with this prediction, saying Simmons could help the Browns at either linebacker or safety.
Of note: Trapasso envisions Wills helping the Browns at right tackle, the position he played at Alabama. QB Tua Tagovailoa is left-handed, so Wills was entrusted with protecting his blind side.
Of note: Becton would be the third OT selected in this simulation behind Wills and Thomas.
Of note: Kadar believes the only non-tackle Cleveland might consider at No. 10 is Simmons.
Of note: McKenna sees Wills as a Day 1 starter at LT.
Of note: Thomas is PFF's top-rated tackle, and his PFF grade improved with each season at Georgia.
Of note: Marino projects the Browns to trade down to No. 21, acquiring the Eagles' second-rounder, a fourth-rounder and a 2021 third-round pick.
Of note: Becton's ability to play both left or right tackle, Jackson writes, would give the Browns some short-term flexibility while trying to improve both sides of the line.
