Browns running back Isaiah Crowell was voted the FedEx Ground NFL Player of the Week after a big-time performance in Pittsburgh.
Crowell rushed 19 times for a career-high 152 yards in a 27-24 overtime loss to the Steelers this past weekend.
Crowell, who eclipsed the 100-yard mark four times this year, finished his third season in Cleveland with 198 carries for 952 yards and seven touchdowns. He also caught another 40 passes for 319 yards.
The weekly FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week Awards are also a win for local communities. Along with the player awards, FedEx is making a $2,000 donation in each of the winning players' names that will go to the USO through FedEx Cares. The donation will be used to support USO programs that keep service members connected to family, home and country as they transition from military to civilian life.
