There will be a heavy Buckeye State presence at the NFL Scouting Combine, which kicks off later this month at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
Fourteen -- yes, 14 -- Ohio State players were among the 332 players invited to the event, which begins in earnest Feb. 23.
Cleveland native and former Buckeye Cardale Jones is among the 18 quarterbacks invited to the Combine. He'll be joined by the following Ohio State teammates: RB Ezekiel Elliott, WR Jalin Marshall, WR Braxton Miller, WR Michael Thomas, TE Nick Vannett, OT Taylor Decker, DE Joey Bosa, DT Adolphus Washington, OLB Darron Lee, ILB Joshua Perry, CB Eli Apple, FS Vonn Bell and FS Tyvis Powell.
The Browns will be fully represented at the Combine, which features a full couple of days of press conferences with coaches and general managers from around the NFL. ClevelandBrowns.com similarly will be there in full force to provide up-to-the-minute written and video updates.
