The Browns will be without two of their top receivers for Friday's preseason opener at Green Bay.
First-round rookie Corey Coleman and veteran Andrew Hawkins will be sidelined because of their respective hamstring injuries, Browns coach Hue Jackson said after Wednesday's practice.
"Those guys, we're going to make sure that they're exactly where they need to be," Jackson said.
Hawkins has been out for a week with his injury while Coleman, who starred with three long catches in Friday's scrimmage in Berea, has been sidelined since Saturday. Coleman said Monday he didn't consider the injury to be anything serious and understood why caution was being exercised at this stage of training camp.
"I'm going to do whatever the trainers want me to do, if that's me going or if that's me just sitting out just resting so we're going to see," Coleman said.
