The Cleveland Browns and San Francisco 49ers have agreed to the following trade:
Browns receive:
2019 seventh-round pickĀ
49ers receive:
OL Shon Coleman
*Pending physical
Coleman started all 16 games last season at right tackle. After the offseason signing of Chris Hubbard, Coleman shifted to the left side, where he competed with a handful of others to replace future Hall of Famer Joe Thomas. After a week of camp, Coleman dropped down to the second-team offense and eventually shifted back to right tackle.
The former Auburn star was a third-round selection in the 2016 NFL Draft. He appeared in 23 games over two seasons with the Browns.
In addition to the 49ers' seventh-rounder, the Browns own all of their selections in rounds 1-7 of the 2019 NFL Draft, a third-round pick from New England (DL Danny Shelton trade) and a conditional seventh-round pick from Jacksonville (QB Cody Kessler trade). The team also holds a 2020 sixth-round pick from Arizona (DB Jamar Taylor trade) and a 2020 seventh-rounder from Buffalo (WR Corey Coleman trade).
