We're now officially one day away from the preseason opener against the Redskins at FirstEnergy Stadium, and training camp has already provided an assortment of jaw-dropping plays, laughs and entertainment for players and fans alike.
So without further ado, let's take a trip back and revisit some of the highlights through 11 days of #BrownsCamp.
Let's start with some of the faces we've seen around camp.
Another big congratulations to Phil Dawson on his retirement as a Brown!
When it came to the plays that got fans out of their seats, some of the usual suspects were at the forefront of discussion.
Lately, it's also been the work of guys like tight end David Njoku, rookie linebacker Mack Wilson and wide receiver Derrick Willies that have also been raising some eyebrows. Willies had arguably the best catch in camp so far.
High fashion never goes out of style here in Berea and some of the players have certainly gotten creative during visor season.
Through Browns Give Back, the team hosted Military Appreciation Day at training camp this week, as the whole squad took time after practice to take pictures and give autographs.
Wrapping up this week's SMR, we're going to give a few shoutouts, the first of which goes to quarterback Baker Mayfield and Ben Hemmelgarn. Ben, who is battling Ewing Sarcoma, stopped by to watch practice and got an exclusive facility tour from Baker!
Our second tip of the cap goes out to cornerback T.J. Carrie, who took time out with a special junior reporter for the day in 10-year old CJ DeJohn. CJ, who connected with Browns Give Back through A Special Wish and Cleveland.com, was among credentialed media during a training camp session. CJ was able to meet with several players, general manager John Dorsey and head coach Freddie Kitchens. CJ, who has battled through several severe heart issues, got some advice from T.J., who dealt with his own heart complications growing up.
