Browns RB Nick Chubb takes home NFL's top weekly rushing award

Nick Chubb's history-making performance against the Falcons was deemed the best in the NFL for Week 10.

Chubb took home the FedEx NFL Ground Player of the Week after rushing for 176 yards, compiling another 33 through the air and scoring two touchdowns in the Browns' 28-16 win over the Falcons. Chubb's 92-yard touchdown run in the third quarter was the longest in Browns history, beating out a 90-yarder by Bobby Mitchell.

Chubb beat out Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott and Packers running back Aaron Jones for the weekly honor.

Since he took over as the Browns' starting running back in Week 7, Chubb has amassed 406 rushing yards, 48 receiving and a combined four touchdowns. On the season, he has 579 yards and six total touchdowns. Thanks to three long touchdown runs, he's averaging a whopping 6.2 yards per carry.
