Nine weeks into the season, Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield has three NFL Rookie of the Week honors to his name.
The latest came Friday, when Mayfield took home the award after throwing for 297 yards and two touchdowns in a 37-21 loss to the Chiefs. He also won it after his performances in Week 3 (Jets) and Week 7 (Buccaneers).
This week, Mayfield beat out his teammate, RB Nick Chubb, Falcons WR Calvin Ridley, Dolphins LB Jerome Baker and Bears LB Roquan Smith.
On the season, Mayfield has thrown for 1,768 yards, 10 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
Browns players have now won Rookie of the Week six times this season. Chubb took it home Week 4 (Raiders) and cornerback Denzel Ward won it after Weeks 1 (Steelers) and 5 (Ravens).
