Baker Mayfield had one his more efficient efforts of the season Sunday in Tampa Bay, and it was enough to put himself in the running for another Rookie of the Week honor.
Mayfield completed 23-of-34 passes for 215 yards and two touchdowns in the Browns' 26-23 overtime loss to the Buccaneers. He added 43 yards on the ground, most of which coming on a 35-yard scramble in the fourth quarter.
On the season, Mayfield is completing 58 percent of his passes for 1,291 yards, six touchdowns and five interceptions.
Mayfield's competition for the weekly honor is Lions RB Kerryon Johnson, Cowboys WR Michael Gallup, Broncos DE Bradley Chubb and Colts LB Darius Leonard.
The Browns have already had players win this award four times this season. Mayfield won it for his Week 3 performance against the Jets while cornerback Denzel Ward won it twice and running back Nick Chubb took it home after Week 4.
