Browns left tackle Joe Thomas underwent successful surgery Tuesday on his left triceps.
The surgery was performed by head team physician, Dr. James Voos at University Hospitals. A full recovery is expected for the 10-time Pro Bowler, who was placed on injured reserve Monday and is out for the season.
Thomas said Monday he anticipates the recovery to take between six and nine months.
Thomas suffered the injury in the third quarter of Sunday's loss to the Titans. The injury is the first to keep Thomas off the field during his 11-year NFL career. He exited with a streak of 10,363 consecutive snaps played, a stretch that spanned all the way back to his first career start in 2007.
