The Cleveland Browns on Sunday interviewed Cincinnati offensive coordinator Hue Jackson for the team's head coach opening.
Jackson is the seventh candidate to be interviewed. Carolina defensive coordinator Sean McDermott, New England defensive coordinator Matt Patricia, Dallas secondary coach Jerome Henderson, Jacksonville assistant head coach/offensive line coach Doug Marrone, Detroit defensive coordinator Teryl Austin and Bears offensive coordinator Adam Gase are the others.
Jackson met with the Browns' five-person search committee, which includes owners Jimmy and Dee Haslam, executive vice president of football operations Sashi Brown, chief strategy officer Paul DePodesta and Korn/Ferry International consultant Jed Hughes.
