The Cleveland Browns have signed FB Marquez Williams to the active roster from the practice squad. To make room on the roster, the team waived DB B.W. Webb.
Williams, 5-10, 260 pounds, was originally a seventh-round pick by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2017 NFL Draft. The Miami product joined the Browns' practice squad on Dec. 23. Williams will wear No. 42.
Webb was signed to the Browns' active roster in Week 16 and was inactive in the team's matchup against the Chicago Bears.
