Looking for a way to give back to the community and help others? We have 11 First and Ten Community Partners with opportunities for you to give your 10 hours this year. This week we'll check out how you can get involved with the Greater Cleveland, who is always looking for volunteers to help run events that are brought to this great city.

The Cleveland Browns are proud to partner with the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission to connect and support the community through sports events.

Through the Cleveland Browns First and Ten movement, players, coaches, owners, office staff and work with the sports commission and attend their events.

The Greater Cleveland Sports Commission (GCSC) prides itself on being one of the most distinguished sports commissions in the country, effectively leveraging sporting events and activities to further economic development in Northeast Ohio. Since 2000, Greater Cleveland Sports Commission has grown to become a relevant and dynamic organization, governed by a committed group of trustees representing some of the region's most esteemed private, public and nonprofit institutions.

The mission of GCSC is to measurably enhance the economy, image and quality of life in the Greater Cleveland community by attracting and creating significant sporting events and activities. I's philosophy to operate as an economic and community development organization that utilizes sports as a vehicle to forward other community agendas, sets it apart from other similar establishments. The organization takes the unique approach of becoming a management and financial partner in each event.

To date, GCSC is responsible for attracting more than 190 sporting events which have contributed nearly $570 million in economic activity to Northeast Ohio. GCSC supports the local economy while maintaining a goal of producing events that are more successful when held in Cleveland than in other cities. Greater

Cleveland Sports Commission is charitable organization that is always looking for volunteers for their events throughout the year.

This month is a perfect example of how you can give back with the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission.

Cleveland Ohio will be the Wrestling capital of the world as the community prepares to host NCAA Championships for Division III (March 9 – 10) and Division I (March 15 – 17).

Roles include those who would ensure that the student athletes, coaches, officials and fans have a tremendous experience in Cleveland.

At the Division III Championships there is a large need for ushers and greeter volunteers on both Friday and Saturday. The fun thing about working an event is that the Sports Commission will do their best to ensure that you are able to view wrestling competition throughout your shift.

There's also an opportunity to help at the Division I Championships as a General Fan Fest Assistants or Wayfinder. This means that you would be providing an important part of guest experience in Cleveland and welcome visitors to the area.

Visit their website for more information on how to sign up to be a volunteer and support the local community.

The Browns are dedicated to #give10 through the team's First and Ten initiative. Launched in June 2014, the Cleveland Browns First and Ten campaign is the team's community program, established to inspire fans to volunteer in and help their communities throughout the world by volunteering for 10 hours each year. Since its inception, Browns fans have committed to volunteering more than 1.5 million hours to impact their communities by pledging to #give10. Through First and Ten, the Browns are the only NFL club to promote a long-term volunteering program that unifies the team and its entire fan base, with the goal of impacting every individual's city across the globe, as well as the franchise's local community. All Browns fans are encouraged to join the volunteering effort by signing the First and Ten pledge on the team's website and by sharing their stories with #give10
