The Cleveland Browns are committed to the community. Through First and Ten, the Dawg Pound is encouraged to share what they are doing to give back. Get inspired and check out what these fans are doing to help their community:
Jeff and Annette – Parents of son serves in the militaryWhat they do to give back: The couple started attending different events in support of the military after their son Jeremy joined the Marines in 2009. Jeff detailed his car in honor of past, present and future members of the military. The car was part of escorting the Eyes of Freedom Memorial, remembering 25 fallen Marines, members of a unit based out of Columbus, OH, who were killed serving in Iraq in 2005.
Annette is a member of the Blue Star Mothers of America, and her chapter is based in Brunswick, OH. The group provides support for active duty service personnel, Veteran organizations, and their families. Jeff and Annette continue to support all the branches of the military in any way they can. Thank you!
Sean – Served in VietnamWhat he does to give back: Sean entered the Navy right after graduating from high school and continued on to serve in Vietnam. After serving our country, Sean is a retired iron worker. He actually helped work on and build the original Cleveland Browns Stadium in downtown Cleveland! While Sean has given back in many different ways, his most recent form of volunteering in the community was taking his time to help put up and take down the Vietnam wall for the AVTT Traveling Vietnam Wall event.
Cindy - Director of the Middleburg Heights Chamber of CommerceWhat she does to give back: Cindy became the Director of the Middleburg Heights Chamber of Commerce in May, 2015. She was previously an auditor for USA Today and ran a publication called "Community Voice." As director of the Chamber of Commerce, Cindy helped organize the American Veterans Traveling Tribute Vietnam wall event that took place July 19-23 during the week of the Republican National Convention in Cleveland. Cindy is also a Browns First and Ten supporter who recently pledged all 250 members of the Middleburg Heights Chamber of Commerce. Cindy and her team are excited to continue in their volunteering endeavors in the community and be active members of First and Ten!
Jason - Teacher and Assistant Football Coach at Brecksville-Broadview Heights High SchoolWhat he does to give back: Jason is a teacher at Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School where he has also been an assistant football coach for the past six seasons working mainly with the linebackers and running backs. He also volunteered as a youth baseball coach for the past four years. Jason has been a part of the NFL's Junior Player Development Program and camps relating to it. Jason has volunteered to coach the East-West High School All-Star Football game for three years, and this year was his first time as head coach of the West-Side All-Stars. His favorite part about volunteering as head coach this year was the growth and development of his athletes over the short two weeks of practice- "The greatest experience was watching young men become leaders and seeing a young group of complete strangers turn into a successful team, working for each other to achieve a goal." Great work, Coach!

Since its inception, Browns fans have committed to volunteering more than 1 million hours to impact their communities by pledging to #give10. Through First and Ten, the Browns are the only NFL club to promote a long-term volunteering program that unifies the team and its entire fan base, with the goal of impacting every individual's city across the globe, as well as the franchise's local community.
