The Cleveland Browns give back to Northeast Ohio with a commitment to education and youth football while engaging the community through our signature First and Ten volunteer movement. In this week's highlights you will find stories from local youth football players, coaches and volunteers who love the game.
Name: Braxton Dente
Hometown: Ritman, OH
How they give back:
Braxton is a star quarterback for his local team in the Buckeye Youth Football League. Along with playing football, Braxton has made it his mission to help raise money for kids who don't have the ability to play football. He chose to help out the Make-A-Wish Foundation and is attempting to raise $1,900 dollars to represent the number 19 he wears on the field. When asked why Braxton chose to do this, he said, "I picked Make-A-Wish because these kids are battling every day, and when I'm on the football field we sometimes take a play off, but they can't because they're fighting for their lives." Braxton hopes to reach his goal and to eventually be able to raise $19,000 in the future. The Browns thank you, Braxton, for choosing to #give10 and helping out your local community.
Name: Jorge Rodriguez
Hometown: Brookside, OH
How they give back:
Jorge is currently the director for the Lake Erie Youth Football League and also the coach for the Brookside Junior Cardinals. Jorge has been volunteering for a couple of years and feels that it is his duty to help give back to his local community. In addition to Jorge volunteering his time, he also has fellow parents sign up and volunteer in the snack stands and sell 50/50 raffle tickets and merchandise.
Name: Rob Horwedel
Hometown: Elyria, OH
How they give back:
Rob is currently the recreation supervisor at the Elyria Parks and Recreation Center. In addition to working at the recreation center, Rob also helps with local youth football. Rob is in charge of three different flag football teams that all play at the recreation center. He oversees registration, providing equipment and creating team schedules. Rob also encourages other city of Elyria parents to volunteer their time. Some parents help out by coaching, refereeing or providing snacks for the players.
Name: David Blaine
Hometown: Lorain, OH
How they give back:
David is currently the coach of the Lorain Steeleman 5U youth football team. He has helped coach the 5U teams to consecutive State Championships and a handful of National Championship appearances. David has been volunteering his time back into the community through coaching for a couple of years and is excited about the youth football team's success in the future.
Name: Jacob Snow and Kazi Rajko
Hometown: Chardon, OH
How they give back:
Jacob and Kazi are star football players for Chardon Middle School. However, during one of their games they wanted to help out their friend and teammate by letting him fulfill his dream of finding the end zone. Jacob and Kazi helped their friend Philip, who has cerebral palsy, score a touchdown in one of their last games of the season. Jacob and Kazi designed a play that would end the ball on the 1 yard line and give Philip the opportunity to score. The Browns thank Jacob and Kazi for helping out their teammate and for choosing to #give10.

Launched in June 2014, the Cleveland Browns First and Ten campaign is the team's community program, established to inspire fans to volunteer in and help their communities throughout the world by volunteering for 10 hours each year. Since its inception, Browns fans have committed to volunteering more than 1.5 million hours to impact their communities by pledging to #give10. Through First and Ten, the Browns are the only NFL club to promote a long-term volunteering program that unifies the team and its entire fan base, with the goal of impacting every individual's city across the globe, as well as the franchise's local community.
