How they give back:
William, who is a participant in the Cleveland Police Athletic League, was chosen to be a part of Joe Thomas' Shop Like a Pro event this year. Each kid that attended the event was given a gift card to shop with a Cleveland Browns player. William decided to not spend the money on himself like the rest of the kids, but instead got in the Christmas spirit and decided to #give10. William came to the store with a list compiled of all things that his friends wanted. He then went around the store and used his gift card to buy gifts for his friends that couldn't attend.
Name: Campus International Students

How they give back:
With the holidays right around the corner, students from Cleveland Metropolitan School District's Campus International School decided to host an in-school winter donation drive. All of the donated items would go to Providence House and benefit all of the families and children associated with the house. Some of the items that were donated include coats, food and gift cards to various local stores. The Cleveland Browns want to a give a big thank you to the students at Campus International who decided to get in the holiday spirit and to #give10, with one of our First and Ten Partners!
Name: Lupe Collins

How they give back:
Lupe has been volunteering for Champion City Elks Lodge #177 in Cleveland since April 2007. She chose this organization because they help many needy children and families. Each year they give a $10,000 scholarship to a graduate to help continue their education. In addition to volunteering at the Elks, Lupe also helps at Mt. Nebo. While volunteering there she was able to help raise funds for a little boy who was suffering from congestive heart failure. Lupe continues to volunteer wherever she is needed and said, "I get joy out of seeing the smiles and excitement of all the children and, to me, that's priceless."
Name: Thomas Gilbert
Hometown: Cleveland, OH
How they give back:
Thomas has spent the better part of the last 48 years volunteering in the field of intellectual disabilities. He has spent the past 26 years developing a program for teaching full literacy skills to individuals with intellectual disabilities. Thomas has personally tutored over 50 individuals in Northern Ohio with intellectual disabilities (Asperger's, autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, ID, ADD, ADHD, TBI, etc.) and has logged just shy of 10,000 hours doing so. Great work, Thomas!
Name: David Brown

How they give back:
David gives 10 hours a week at his local Salvation Army. While David is there, he helps assist the Salvation Army staff with whatever is needed. He says this a wonderful program that reaches children, families, and those who need food, shelter, clothing, and emergency assistance.

Launched in June 2014, the Cleveland Browns First and Ten campaign is the team's community program, established to inspire fans to volunteer in and help their communities throughout the world by volunteering for 10 hours each year. Since its inception, Browns fans have committed to volunteering more than 1.5 million hours to impact their communities by pledging to #give10. Through First and Ten, the Browns are the only NFL club to promote a long-term volunteering program that unifies the team and its entire fan base, with the goal of impacting every individual's city across the globe, as well as the franchise's local community.
