The Cleveland Browns have claimed LB Jeremy Cash via waivers from the Giants. To make room on the roster, the team waived LB Deon King.
Cash is 6-0, 230 pounds and is in his second NFL season out of Duke. Originally signed by Carolina as an undrafted free agent in 2016, Cash has appeared in nine games with the Panthers and recorded six special teams tackles. This season, he has appeared in one game with the Panthers, spent five weeks on the Jets' practice squad and spent the past three weeks on the Giants' active roster but did not appear in a game. He is a native of Miami, Fla.
King appeared in nine games as a reserve and recorded three special teams tackles.
