The Browns hoped the 2017 NFL Draft would be a "momentous" one.
So they selected three players in the first round on Thursday night, becoming the first team do to so since Minnesota in 2013. The Vikings made all three of their picks in the 20s that year. Before then, it hadn't happened since 1967.

The Browns selected Texas A&M Myles Garrett with the first overall pick, Michigan safety Jabrill Peppers at No. 25 and then took Miami tight end David Njoku at No. 29.
Cleveland, which traded No. 33 in order to move up and take Njoku, will have the chance to add to its draft class on Day 2 with the No. 52 pick.
