Browns activate DB Charles Gaines, RB Glenn Winston

The Cleveland Browns on Tuesday activated defensive back Charles Gaines and running back Glenn Winston.

A sixth-round pick this season, Gaines was placed on injured reserve/designated for return with a hamstring injury on Sept. 7. He returned to practice prior to Week 7.

Winston appeared in five games as rookie last season and was placed on reserve/non-football injury with a knee injury on Sept. 1. He returned to practice prior to Week 7.
