The Browns will kick off their 2018 season against a familiar foe and close the year at another divisional rival. We're breaking down Cleveland's AFC North opponents.
Week 1 and Week 8: Pittsburgh Steelers
Sept. 9 (1 p.m) @FirstEnergy Stadium
Oct. 28 (1 p.m.) @Heinz Field
2017 record: 13-3
The skinny: The Browns opened and closed their 2017 season with tight games against the Steelers. Cleveland nearly pulled off the upset in the season opener and then fell just short in Pittsburgh on New Year's Eve. Of note: Offensive coordinator Todd Haley, who spent six seasons with the Steelers before joining the Browns' coaching staff this past offseason, will face off against his former team.
Week 5 and 17: Baltimore Ravens
Oct. 7 (1 p.m) @FirstEnergy Stadium
Dec. 30 (1 p.m.) @M&T Stadium
2017 record: 9-7
The skinny: Cleveland lost by double-digits in both games against the Ravens last season, combining for nine turnovers in the process. After missing the playoffs for the third straight season, Baltimore added wide receiver Michael Crabtree to help spark a stagnant offense.
Week 12 and 16: Cincinnati Bengals
Nov. 25 (1 p.m) @Paul Brown Stadium
Dec. 23 (1 p.m.) @FirstEnergy Stadium
2017 record: 7-9
The skinny: The Browns travel to the Queen City the weekend after Thanksgiving and then host the Bengals in the second-to-last week of the regular season. Cleveland will have the chance to avenge a disappointing 31-7 loss at home last October.
