This is becoming the norm for Baker Mayfield and Nick Chubb.
The Browns' rookie quarterback-running back duo was once again nominated for the NFL's Rookie of the Week award. They're up against three running backs: Saquon Barkley (Giants), Phillip Lindsay (Broncos) and Sony Michel (Patriots).
Mayfield, who has won the award three times, had his latest, best game of his rookie season Sunday against the Bengals. Doing the majority of his work in a dominant first half, Mayfield completed 19-of-26 passes for 258 yards and four touchdowns. Over the past three weeks, he has 771 yards, nine touchdowns and just one interception.
Chubb scored twice, once on the ground and once through the air, and finished with a combined 128 yards of offense. It marked the second straight game Chubb, who has two Rookie of the Week awards, found the end zone with a reception and a carry. He's up to 663 yards and eight total touchdowns on the season.
If Chubb or Mayfield win, it will mark the eighth time a Cleveland rookie has won the weekly award.
