NFL free agency is officially here.
With the NFL's negotiation period beginning on March 9, clubs can contact and enter contract negotiations with players who will become unrestricted free agents when their 2025 contracts expire on March 11. Free agency then officially opens at 4 p.m. ET on March 11 as the new league year begins and contracts can be made official with new teams. Trades may also once again take place.

Incoming & Re-Signed
WR Tylan Wallace

Wallace was first drafted by the Ravens in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft. In his five years in Baltimore, Wallace appeared in 68 career games with three starts. He totaled 22 receptions for 305 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Wallace also was a contributor on special teams as a punt and kick returner, with 986 special teams snaps. He recorded 12 punt returns for 194 yards and one touchdown, as well as eight kick returns for 188 yards over his career with the Ravens.
DT Sam Kamara

Kamara has spent time with the Browns since 2022, moving between the practice squad and active roster, and has provided depth to the defensive line. Over the last four seasons, Kamara has appeared in 18 games with starts, recording 28 tackles and five tackles for loss.
TE Blake Whiteheart

Whiteheart spent the previous two seasons in Cleveland, after originally signing to the Browns' practice squad in 2024. He bounced back and forth between the practice squad and active roster over the course of the season, appearing in 11 games with two starts in 2024. Then, in 2025, White heart appeared in all 17 games with four earned starts. In his two seasons with the Browns, he has caught eight receptions for 55 yards and one touchdown.
S Daniel Thomas

Thomas was originally selected by Jacksonville in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft and has appeared in 83 games with the Jaguars (2020-24) and Lions (2025). He has recorded 63 career tackles, one interception and one fumble recovery, while adding 33 special teams tackles. Last season, he appeared in 12 games with two starts with Detroit.
DT Kalia Davis

Davis spent three seasons with the 49ers after he was drafted in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft by San Francisco and has appeared in 33 career games. Davis started all 17 games during the 2025 season, recording 28 tackles, four tackles for loss, two quarterback hits, a half of a sack and three passes defensed.
DE Julian Okwara

Okwara spent time on the Browns' practice squad during the 2025 season before he was placed on practice squad/injured reserve in December 2025. Okwara was first drafted by the Lions in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft and spent his first four years in the league in Detroit. He appeared in 38 games and earned four starts, and recorded 54 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, 16 quarterback hits, nine sacks, three passes defensed, one interception and one fumble recovery.
CB D'Angelo Ross

Last season, Ross appeared in three games with the Texans before being signed to the Browns' active roster from the Texans' practice squad. He appeared in seven games with Cleveland and recorded five tackles and two passes defensed on defense, while adding four special teams tackles.
CB Tre Avery

Avery was first signed to the Browns' practice squad in September 2025 and spent time on both the practice squad and active roster for Cleveland. He appeared in 10 games throughout the season and recorded 13 tackles.
P Corey Bojorquez

The Browns re-signed a key specialist in P Corey Bojorquez. He originally signed with Cleveland as an unrestricted free agent in 2022 and spent the last four seasons with the Browns. He owns the Browns single-season records for punt average (49.4 in 2023), net punt average (42.5 in 2023) and punts inside the 20-yard line (36 in 2024).
C/G Elgton Jenkins

The Browns continue to bolster their offensive line with veteran presence, as they have agreed to terms with free agent C/G Elgton Jenkins. He is entering his eighth NFL season after spending his first seven seasons with the Packers. Green Bay first drafted Jenkins in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft, and he started 94 of 96 career games played.
G Zion Johnson

The Browns continue to rebuild their offensive line, as they have agreed to terms with G Zion Johnson. Johnson was first drafted by the Chargers in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft as the 17th overall pick. In 2022, Johnson was also selected to the PFWA All-Rookie team. He spent his first four seasons in Los Angeles, starting 65 of 66 career games. He started at both left and right guard during his time with the Chargers – but spent a large portion of the last three seasons at left guard.
LB Quincy Williams

The Browns are bringing in a key veteran addition to their linebacker room, as they have agreed to terms with LB Quincy Williams. William spent the previous five seasons with the Jets, starting 73 of 78 games played. He recorded 554 tackles, 58 tackles for loss, 21 quarterback hits and 12.5 sacks.
TE Jack Stoll

The Browns added veteran presence and depth to their tight end room, as they have agreed to terms with TE Jack Stoll. He is entering his sixth NFL season, after most recently playing for the Saints during the 2025 season. He played in 15 games with four starts and totaled six receptions for 46 yards and one touchdown.
T Tytus Howard

Cleveland has acquired T Tytus Howard in a trade with the Texans in exchange for a 2026 fifth-round pick from the Raiders. He also signed a three-year deal in conjunction with the trade – cementing him as a core piece of the Browns' offensive line for the next few years.
G Teven Jenkins

Jenkins stays with Cleveland after he re-signed with the Browns on March 10. He first signed with the Browns during the 2025 free agency period. He played in all 17 games of the 2025 season and earned four starts at right guard, providing key depth as the offensive line dealt with injuries and changing starting lineups over the course of the season.
