As guests pulled up to the Auto-Rama drive-in movie theater in North Ridgeville, Ohio, with their furry friends in tow, they parked their cars in front of the outdoor screen and set up for a night at the movies to see the all-new superhero action adventure, DC Studios' Superman.
Barking Backers, the official dog fan club of the Cleveland Browns, partnered with Milk-Bone and Warner Bros. Pictures to host Paws of Steel: A Superman screening experience. The private screening was open to four-year members – any member who has been a part of Barking Backers since the club officially launched in 2022.
Guests received popcorn and a drink, along with a cape giveaway for their dogs from Milk-Bone and a custom Superman popcorn bucket, while supplies lasted. There were treats available for the dogs and a photo opportunity for guests and their pets before the screening began.
Barking Backers, presented by Milk-Bone in association with Embrace Pet Insurance and Pet Supplies Plus, is in its fourth season and offers free and premium memberships for dog owners who want to connect their dogs to the Dawg Pound through unique merchandise and experiences.
Refreshed premium membership kits are now available, which include a collectible dog tag, bucket hat, bowtie, Milk-Bone products, an Embrace Pet Insurance emergency kit, and a Pet Supplies Plus lick mat all inside a commemorative box. Premium members also have an opportunity for their dog to become the Barking Backers "Dog of the Month". Both membership options include custom certificates, quarterly newsletters and invitations to in-person events.
